Sociedade Ciclista Lusitana is a company based in the municipality of Águeda, which manufactures and sells parts and accessories for bikes, motor vehicles, and various tools for other branches of commerce and industry. For the bike sector in particular, it makes bicycle brakes, bicycle levers, bicycle handles, among other bicycle accessories.

It owns the registered trademark “LUSITO”.

Today, more than 50% of its production is exported, with North African countries being the main destinations for its products. However, EU countries continue to be a baseline for exports to Europe. Currently, Lusitana is one of the oldest companies in the municipality to work continuously since it was founded.
