It all started when João Baptista, with the little money that he had left in his pocket, bought a plank of wood to build the bike of his dreams. Without any professional means, this was quite the task. The process was slow and complicated, but he never gave up since he had the ability to envision the full potential of his creation.
He was right to stand by his dreams, MUD evolved not only as a brand, but as a lifestyle. A sustainable one.

MUD is now a family business and nothing makes us more proud than seeing our creations scattered around the world. All of our products are handmade in Portugal by us and only us. We carefully select the materials from sustainable sources, and we make sure that our suppliers are as committed to the environment as we are.

In order to continue our sustainable growth, we’ll keep working on new designs but also on improving older ones. A lot of these improvements come from our customers’ feedback, so feel free to drop us a message. We actually read and take all of the suggestions into consideration.
